FAQs
1. What is your design philosophy?
My design philosophy is simple: pretty isn’t enough — it has to work. UX design is about solving real human problems through clarity, empathy, and functionality. A successful design should guide users intuitively toward the right action without needing explanation. I strive to create experiences that are not only visually engaging but most importantly human-centered.
2. How do you collaborate with the team?
I believe solving human problems starts with strong collaboration. I keep communication open, welcome diverse perspectives, and treat every discussion as a chance to find clarity. Through shared documentation, sprint reviews, and design critiques, I see collaboration not as a phase, but as the foundation that keeps both the product and the team aligned.
3. How do you handle constructive feedback?
As a Christian, I work ultimately for my Lord Jesus Christ, and everything I do — whether design or communication — is first unto Him (Colossians 3:17). Because of that, I see feedback not as a threat, but as a blessing. Scripture says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). I welcome critique with humility and gratitude, knowing that God often uses others to refine both my work and my character. My goal is always to respond with grace, learn what I can, and grow from it.
4. How do you measure the success of your designs?
It depends on the project, but I always establish clear KPIs that align with both user and business goals. Metrics like completion rates, user errors, and conversion performance help validate design decisions. I also value qualitative insights through usability testing and direct user feedback. Success for me means the design has truly served its purpose — improving human experience and meeting the need it was created to solve.
5. How do you stay up-to-date with new trends and technologies?
I stay current by learning from industry leaders and seasoned practitioners. I regularly read UX articles, watch design breakdowns on YouTube, and follow respected voices across multiple social platforms.
6. What tools are you proficient in?
My main tool is Figma for UI design, prototyping, and team collaboration. I also use Framer for web design and micro-interactions, and WordPress for CMS management. In marketing, I’ve worked with Mailchimp, HubSpot, and Klaviyo, with Mailchimp being my primary platform.
